(CMA CGM) controlled CEVA Corporate Services (CEVA). The Authority granted the necessary approval considering the effects of the transaction on the competitive environment.

The statement made on the Authority's website included assessments regarding the possibility that the acquisition process could reduce effective competition in the market under the Law on the Protection of Competition. In this regard, the behavioral commitments provided by CEVA offered a solution to address potential competition concerns.

Acquisition Conditions and Customer Assurances

There are significant items among the commitments made by CEVA:

• Agreements made with current customers will remain valid without changes for one year.


• Price increases cannot exceed the limits specified in the existing agreement.


• Customers will be able to switch to alternative providers without additional costs.


• New agreements will include a termination right of at least three months.


• Rival companies will have access to the distribution network on fair and non-discriminatory terms.


• Customers will not be required to take different logistics services together.


• An independent auditor will monitor the implementation of the commitments for two years.

Competition Protection Measures and Penalties for Violations

The statement emphasized that the commitments presented have the capacity to effectively solve the competition problems that may arise from the transaction. Additionally, it was reported that in case of violation of these commitments, administrative fines will be imposed on the parties in accordance with Article 17 of the Law on the Protection of Competition.
