Officials' Statement

Kırıkkale Governor Mehmet Makas announced that there have been no casualties in the fire incident and that all employees were successfully evacuated. Governor Makas stated that the fire occurred in the 1st Organized Industrial Zone of Yahşihan district in Kırıkkale.

Fire Under Control

Governor Makas expressed that a rapid intervention was made regarding the factory fire, emphasizing that firefighting and rescue teams from neighboring provinces are working to control the situation. “Firefighting efforts are ongoing. Our special teams and business people are providing support with tankers,” he said.

Future Precautions

The Governor noted that no information has yet been provided regarding the cause of the fire, stating that the necessary investigations are being conducted and all precautions will be taken. The goal is to control the fire without spreading to other businesses in this Organized Industrial Zone, which has more than 66 factories.
