London, United Kingdom - The Petroleum National Authority of Timor-Leste (ANP) has commenced its participation in ADIPEC 2025 with strong engagement from the international energy community and high-level discussions.
Timor-Leste, the newest ASEAN member in Asia, has a delegation of 15 senior executives from ANP and held fruitful discussions with major global players such as CNPC, Shell, Mubadala, Oxy, Chevron, ExxonMobil, XRG, and Dragon Oil. The discussions focused on collaboration opportunities and investment possibilities within Timor-Leste's expanding energy portfolio.
Francelino A. Xavier-Conceição, ANP Timor-Leste Exploration and Development Executive Director, stated on the first day of ADIPEC that the interest shown by the international community was highly positive. "The first day of ADIPEC 2025 was extremely productive. Interest from international energy leaders reinforces Timor-Leste's growing role in the region and establishes a strong foundation for collaboration ahead of the 5th Timor-Leste Energy, Mining and Business Forum 2025 and the Licensing Round in 2026."
The participation of ANP in ADIPEC highlights Timor-Leste's increasing significance in the energy and investment landscape of Southeast Asia. Since its historic acceptance as the 11th Member State of ASEAN on October 26, 2025, Timor-Leste has been strengthening partnerships that support sustainable resource development and regional energy integration.
Throughout the exhibition, ANP welcomes visitors at Hall 15, Booth nº15396, showcasing the country's recent discoveries, financial frameworks, and flagship projects (Greater Sunrise and Bayu-Undan), while providing updates on renewable energy and upcoming investment opportunities.
The delegation will also hold meetings with investors and partners to discuss Timor-Leste's upcoming Licensing Round planned for 2026 and seeks to generate interest ahead of the 5th Timor-Leste Energy, Mining and Business Forum 2025, taking place in Dili from November 24-26, 2025. This forum serves as an international platform for energy, mining, and infrastructure investments.
ADIPEC 2025 is being held under the patronage of UAE President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, bringing together over 205,000 participants, 45 ministers, and 250 senior executives under the theme "Energy. Intelligence. Impact."
The ANP delegation will continue its meetings throughout the week, promoting Timor-Leste's vision of sustainable growth and positioning the country as the next strategic energy frontier in Southeast Asia.
