Application for the Second Package of Nefes Credit Starts on November 19

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) announced that it has increased the credit volume of the second package of Nefes Credit from 25 billion lira to 50 billion lira. In this context, applications will start to be accepted on November 19.

Collaboration to Support SMEs

In the statement made by TOBB, it was reminded that the second phase of Nefes Credit was launched in collaboration with the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) and banks on October 2. It was decided to increase the credit volume due to the intense demand received.

Application Process and Conditions

Applications will be made at the branches of Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Ziraat Bankası, Denizbank, Garanti Bankası, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, and Ziraat Katılım. All member businesses of TOBB affiliated chambers and exchanges can benefit from this support.

A maximum of 1.5 million lira is allowed for credit use, with credits having a 6-month principal payment-free period and a 36-month maturity. The credit will be provided with 33% interest rate up to 24 months and 32% interest rate for over 24 months.

Statement from TOBB President

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the difficulties in accessing financing, stating, "We have created a new source to solve the problems faced by our SMEs. Our aim is to be by the side of our SMEs in difficult times."

Additionally, it was reported that with the first Nefes Credit, a total of 30 billion lira support has reached 23,515 firms. Hisarcıklıoğlu added: "We expect our credit volume to reach 80 billion lira by 2025, which will contribute to strengthening our country's economy."
