


Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United Arab Emirates (UAE) President
UAE President bin Zayed paid an official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. The two leaders discussed various options to enhance the comprehensive bilateral cooperation between their countries.
The statement expressed satisfaction with the increasing trade and economic cooperation following the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in 2022. The two countries agreed on a target of increasing bilateral trade to $200 billion by 2032.
The commitment to enhance cooperation in food security was also announced. Additionally, agreements were made to deepen the partnership in the field of space and strengthen cooperation on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Furthermore, steps were taken to evaluate increasing cooperation in finance, culture, education, and defense. Meetings that addressed regional and global issues also created an important ground for the strategic goals of both countries.
