The Frankfurt-based research company Sentix has published the General Investor Confidence Index data for the Eurozone for November. According to the published data, investor confidence has been on a negative trend for the last four months.
The Eurozone Investor Confidence Index reflects the information obtained from a monthly survey conducted with more than a thousand private and institutional financial market investors by Sentix. Values above zero indicate that participants have an optimistic economic outlook, while negative numbers reveal that investors hold pessimistic views.
In comparison, the investor confidence index, which was -3.7 points in October, worsened in November, decreasing to -7.4 points. This situation indicates that investors in the Eurozone are adopting a more cautious stance in the face of increasing uncertainties. Meanwhile, the median forecast from economists surveyed by Bloomberg suggested that the index could rise to the -4 level.
