In his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Erdoğan addressed Turkey-France relations and regional matters. The meeting placed particular emphasis on the situation in Gaza and the importance of humanitarian aid.
President Erdoğan held a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Joseph Carney, expressing the desire to develop bilateral relations, especially in the defense industry.
Erdoğan also met with European Union Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss important issues regarding Turkey-EU relations. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was also present at the meeting.
During the discussions, meetings were held with Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Angola President Joao Lourenço. The need to deepen relations with African countries was emphasized.
Finally, in a meeting with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, efforts to strengthen trade and cooperation between Turkey and Ethiopia were expressed. Ensuring regional stability within the framework of the Ankara Declaration is deemed important.
