


The Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç participated in important bilateral meetings held for the fourth time within the framework of the '2nd International Justice Conference' held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. This significant conference provided a great opportunity to strengthen cooperation in the field of justice with different countries. During the conference, Minister Tunç met with justice ministers from four different countries to discuss various issues.
During the conference, Tunç held discussions with South Africa's Minister of Justice Mmamoloko Kubayi, outlining steps to enhance cooperation between the two countries. Tunç also emphasized their support for South Africa's genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice, stating, "We have expressed that we will always stand by our Palestinian brothers."
In the context of the conference, Tunç met with Hungary's Minister of Justice Bence Tuzson to evaluate ongoing efforts stemming from the memorandum of cooperation signed last year between the two countries. Tunç stated that the historical relations and cooperation with Hungary would be further strengthened.
Minister Tunç discussed shared objectives aimed at deepening and strengthening cooperation in the field of justice and judiciary with Iran's Minister of Justice Emin Hüseyin Rahimi.
Tunc also met with Saudi Arabian Minister of Justice Walid al-Samani to evaluate the activities planned under the judicial cooperation between the two countries and to outline reciprocal steps to strengthen relationships.
During the session titled 'Development of Legislative Systems and Its Effects on the Quality of Justice,' which was one of the important moments of the conference in Riyadh, Tunç talked about the judicial reforms and digital applications being implemented in Turkey. He emphasized that these reforms were aimed at increasing the efficiency of justice services.
During the conference, Minister Tunç also visited Turkey's embassy in Riyadh, discussing ongoing efforts for Turkish citizens with Ambassador Emrullah İşler and expressing gratitude for the cooperation.
