CFTC Reassesses Crypto Regulation

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the leading regulatory agency responsible for crypto activities in the United States, has rescinded its previous definition regarding the transfer of assets in crypto-commodity transactions.

Acting Chair Caroline Pham stated that the earlier guidance on "actual delivery" was withdrawn in line with efforts to create friendly crypto policies during the administration of President Donald Trump.
