Process of Calculating Fuel Prices

In Turkey, gasoline and diesel prices are based on the duty-free refinery price. This price is determined as the refinery sales price excluding VAT, after adding excise tax and EPDK share. Finally, the pump price is formed by adding VAT. In the calculation of the duty-free refinery price, the daily CIF Mediterranean product prices published in the Mediterranean-Italian market and the daily exchange rate are taken into account.
