CME Group's New Token Development Plans

CME Group CEO Terry Duffy announced that the company is considering creating its own token. This initiative stands out as part of CME Group's work on tokenized collateral. Additionally, the firm is collaborating with Google for a "tokenized cash" solution that is planned to be launched within this year.

Duffy's statements are recorded as the first clear expression of a special asset that CME Group plans to issue. The company is also preparing to offer 24/7 trading opportunities for all crypto futures and will introduce new futures contracts for Cardano, Chainlink, and Stellar.
