The Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made important statements to the press following the Cabinet Meeting held at the Presidential Complex.

Minimum Wage Determination Commission Meetings

Minister Işıkhan reminded that the first meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will be held on December 12 hosted by the Ministry, and announced that the second meeting of the commission will take place on December 18 Thursday.

Social Dialogue and Cooperation with Unions

Işıkhan stated that they have an open communication structure with all unions and used the following expressions while determining the minimum wage figure valid for the new year: "We will operate all processes as required by social dialogue. I will consult with the unions and gather their opinions; it is my duty, we will definitely consult."
