The Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made important statements to the press following the Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.

Minimum Wage Determining Commission Meetings

Minister Işıkhan reminded that the first meeting of the Minimum Wage Determining Commission will be held on December 12, hosted by the Ministry, and announced that the second meeting of the commission will take place on December 18, Thursday.

Social Dialogue and Cooperation with Unions

Işıkhan stated that they have an open communication structure with all unions, and used the following statements during the process of determining the minimum wage valid for the new year: "We will conduct every process due to social dialogue. I will consult with the unions and gather their opinions; it is my duty to do this, and we will certainly engage in consultation."
