The Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made important statements to the press following the Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.

Minimum Wage Determination Commission Meetings

Minister Işıkhan reminded that the first meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will be held on December 12 at the Ministry, and announced that the second meeting of the commission will take place on December 18 Thursday.

Social Dialogue and Cooperation with Unions

Işıkhan stated that they have an open communication structure with all unions, and regarding the process of determining the minimum wage to be effective in the new year, he expressed: "We will carry out every process due to social dialogue. I will consult with the unions and take their opinions; that is my duty, we will definitely hold consultations."
