Last week, it was observed that foreign investors residing abroad caused significant activity in the Turkish stock market. 109.7 million dollars worth of shares were sold by foreign investors, drawing attention with these transactions that affect Turkey's financial dynamics.

According to the “Weekly Securities Statistics” data announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), these sales took place in the week of October 10. Investors sold not only stocks but also 87.1 million dollars worth of Non-Governmental Sector (ÖST) assets. This situation may indicate an increase in pressure on foreign investors in Turkey's financial markets.

On the other hand, the purchases made by foreign residents from Turkey during this period also drew attention. In particular, the acquisition of 307.8 million dollars worth of Government Domestic Debt Securities (DİBS) indicates that foreign investors are increasing their interest in Turkey's government borrowing market. At this point, investors have to act taking into account the risk and return balance.

As a result, these transactions carried out by foreign residents carry important signs in terms of market dynamics and investor psychology. Future developments may directly shape investor behaviors and Turkey's investment climate.
