Notable Decrease in Chicken Meat Production

Throughout Turkey, chicken meat production demonstrated a monthly decrease of %5.5 in November 2025. The production reached 233,887 tons in November of the previous year, showing a %7.9 annual increase, while this decline is an important indicator in the production dynamics.

Stable Increase in Egg Production

During the same period, chicken egg production increased by %3.4, reaching 1 billion 771 million 906 thousand eggs. However, in November 2025, a %2 decrease was experienced compared to the previous month. This situation signals the fluctuations occurring in the sector.

Increase in Number of Chickens Slaughtered

The number of chickens slaughtered in November also showed an annual increase of %8.6, totaling 125 million 681 thousand. Looking at the January-November period of the previous year, chicken egg production decreased by %7.3, while the number of chickens slaughtered increased by %9.9 and chicken meat production rose by %11.9.
