Turkey 5G Auction: $2.1 Billion Opportunities Ahead!

Turkey is preparing to take an important step in digital transformation with 5G technology. The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, provided information about the 5G auction to be held tomorrow. The auction will be conducted with a minimum value of 2 billion 125 million dollars, and a total of 400 MHz frequency will be allocated to operators through 11 different frequency packages.

Uraloğlu stated that a meeting for this historic auction will be held at 10:30 at the headquarters of the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK). The innovative opportunities and fast internet access that 5G technology will bring to Turkey will contribute to strengthening the country’s digital infrastructure. The frequency resources to be provided in this process will open the doors to many new services such as super-fast internet and high-capacity data transmission.
