


The tender result ceremony held in Libya's capital, Tripoli, was attended by Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dibeybe, Minister of Petroleum and Gas Halifa Abdussadık, President of the Libyan National Oil Corporation Mesoud Suleiman, and many representatives from international energy companies.
Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has won the C3 onshore block in partnership with Spanish Repsol, according to the results announced by the tender committee of the Libyan National Oil Corporation. Additionally, it has also obtained the O7 offshore block in collaboration with Repsol and Hungarian MOL.
The Libyan Ministry of Petroleum and Gas announced last year that it had opened a total of 22 blocks for oil and natural gas exploration and production tenders, with 11 onshore and 11 offshore blocks, after 17 years. Following these tenders, a new era is beginning for Libya's energy sector.
