


During the 2nd Azerbaijan-Turkey Investment Forum held in Baku, an agreement was signed for the transfer of all shares of the Central Anatolian Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant to SOCAR.
Attending the ceremony were Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov. The agreement was signed by SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and GAMA Energy Board Chairman Ahmet Hakan Özman.
Operating since 2016, the Central Anatolian Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant has a 870 megawatt installed capacity, securing its place in the sector. This significant investment will further strengthen the cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan in energy production.
