Siemens and SBB are digitizing railway signaling.

Siemens Mobility and Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) have signed an important framework agreement to digitally transform the signaling systems of railway lines across the country as a strategic step. This agreement aims to make modern railway transportation more reliable and efficient.

In this context, Siemens will use an innovative solution called Signaling X. This solution stands out as a crucial technology for enabling the transition from traditional signaling to digital signaling systems. Moving the signaling control logic to central data centers will allow for faster and more effective management of the system.
