Capital Markets Congress 2023: The Theme of Interaction

Held on November 4-5, 2023, the Capital Markets Congress was an important event for Turkey’s financial world. The congress, organized by the Turkey Capital Markets Association (TSPB), attracted significant participation from professionals, investors, and university students.

The congress opened with a keynote speech by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek. It then continued with valuable contributions from Capital Markets Board President İbrahim Ömer Gönül, Borsa İstanbul General Manager Korkmaz Ergun, and Pamir Karagöz. A total of 31 sessions, including 16 panels, 10 trainings, and 5 workshops, were held over the two-day event.

Combatting Manipulation: A Priority on the Agenda

During the congress, particular emphasis was placed on the issue of combating manipulation in financial markets. Participants exchanged ideas on the steps to be taken in this struggle and methods for informing the public.
