By the TBMM Decision, the authorization for the Turkish Armed Forces Naval Elements to operate in the Gulf of Aden, Somali Waters, and the Arabian Sea to combat piracy, armed robbery, and maritime terrorism has been extended with the President's permission until February 10, 2027 (1482 Requirement).
