New Artificial Intelligence Partnership between Nscale and Microsoft

Nscale made an important announcement that will affect DELL, which showed a 3.78% increase, NVDA, which recorded a 0.40% rise, and MSFT, which saw a 0.17% rise. Nscale announced that it has developed a strategic partnership with Microsoft and that approximately 200,000 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs will be distributed in Europe and the U.S. as part of this collaboration. This initiative stands out as a significant step towards strengthening the artificial intelligence infrastructure.

International Configurations and Collaborations

This multinational project announced in London encompasses Nscale's own facilities, the joint venture it established with Aker ASA, and existing collaborations with Dell Technologies. The goal of the project is to create a strong presence in the international market by offering Microsoft's customers hyper-scalable NVIDIA artificial intelligence solutions.

Phased Deliveries and Planning

The initial phases are planned to start in 2026, with phased deliveries taking place along with new field development and co-location footprints. It is also noted that this project will support the goal of Nscale and Microsoft to establish the largest NVIDIA-supported supercomputer in the United Kingdom.

Evolving Capacity and Infrastructure

Nscale aims to install approximately 104,000 GB300 GPUs at its artificial intelligence campus in Texas, which has a capacity of 240MW. Services for Microsoft are planned to begin in the third quarter of 2026. Plans also include Nscale's intention to expand this site to 1.2GW.

Goals in Europe

At the Start Campus facility in Sines, Portugal, approximately 12,600 GB300 GPUs are targeted to be installed starting from the first quarter of 2026. Another goal is to host around 23,000 GB300 GPUs in a 50MW setup planned for early 2027 at the Loughton Artificial Intelligence Campus in the United Kingdom.

Expert Opinions

Nscale's CEO, Josh Payne, expressed pride in collaborating with Microsoft on this historic artificial intelligence infrastructure contract. Jon Tinter, Microsoft's Head of Business Development and Ventures, emphasized that the collaboration would provide an infrastructure that offers the latest technology to customers.

This arrangement clearly demonstrates the increasing demand for high-performance computing for training, tuning, and operating artificial intelligence models on a global scale among businesses.
