Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) became one of the most talked-about stocks among investors in the latest earnings season. Rich Greenfield, co-founder of Lightshed Partners, commented on the stock's post-earnings decline on a CNBC program. The analyst stated that there is no 'crash' concerning Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) and that investors should not panic. He expressed that the company is still growing and that the stock is a 'story of an application.'

Greenfield mentioned that the company's advertising business is still in its early stages and believes that Netflix has been successful in returning to growth with two moves. 'They are still at the very beginning of their journey. It's growing, compounding, but these are still small numbers for Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX). They are still in the early phases of attracting advertisers and increasing subscriber numbers,' he said. He emphasized that this business represents a multibillion-dollar market; however, he noted that they are quite behind compared to other companies like Meta and Google. Their goal was to restart high single-digit revenue growth back to double digits by launching the advertising layer along with restrictions on password sharing.

Macquarie Core Equity Fund stated in its second-quarter 2025 investor letter regarding Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) that 'Netflix, Inc.' (NASDAQ:NFLX) offers a subscription-based streaming service. We expect the company's growth momentum to continue, aiming for high profit margins with a gradual increase in content and licensing investments.'
