Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) published global semiconductor sales data for September 2023 and the third quarter of 2025.
According to this, global semiconductor sales in the third quarter of the year reached a total of 208.4 billion dollars, showing an increase of 15.8% compared to the previous quarter.
Semiconductor sales in September amounted to 69.5 billion dollars, marking an increase of 25.1% compared to the same period last year.
Based on global data, semiconductor sales in September increased by 47.9% in the Asia Pacific, 30.6% in America, 15% in China, and 6% in Europe, while a decrease of 10.2% was observed in Japan.
SIA President and CEO John Neuffer stated that these figures indicate significant growth in global chip sales during the third quarter, considerably surpassing the figures from the second quarter. Neuffer emphasized that the growth in the market was triggered by increasing demand and noted that annual growth was supported by sales in the Asia Pacific and America regions.
