


A Canadian pension fund has announced that it has purchased $37.07 million worth of shares in the Bitcoin-focused company Strive, Inc.. This information came to light through the fund's latest 13F filing for the third quarter.
The Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan Trust Fund owns 14,814,815 shares of Strive. The date on which the value was calculated is September 30, and the share price was determined to be $2.50.
Strive also submitted a Schedule 13G filing, announcing that it owns 6.4% of all Class A common shares. Earlier this year, shareholders of Asset Entities Inc. approved a reverse merger with Strive Enterprises, backed by Vivek Ramaswamy. This has resulted in the creation of a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company that could potentially provide $1.5 billion in funding.
As of now, Strive holds 7,525 Bitcoin, signifying that the value of the assets in the company's wallet is approximately $734 million. This situation makes Strive one of the largest institutional Bitcoin holders.
