Jeppesen ForeFlight has been reborn as an independent digital aviation company after terminating its relationship with Boeing and transitioning to Thoma Bravo in a cash transaction valued at $10.55 billion.

Brad Surak, who previously led the Digital Aviation Solutions business at Boeing, will guide the development of Jeppesen ForeFlight as the company's CEO.
