Long Career Background

Seyrek started his career as a Junior Specialist in the Training Department of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. in 1990 after graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations. Subsequently, he worked as a Credit Specialist in the I. Credit Department between 1992-1994 and in İşbank GmbH General Directorate from 1994-2001. In the following years, he took on various positions, and on October 1, 2013, he was appointed as the General Manager of İşbank AG.

Promoted to First Deputy General Manager in December 2023, Seyrek is expected to be appointed as the Chairman of the Board of İş Portfolio Management A.Ş. in October 2025. He is expected to play an important role in coordinating the group’s strategies for capital markets.
