U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has published a rule proposal regarding the implementation process of stablecoins for the first time as the body responsible for the regulation of thousands of banks in the country. This proposal will affect incumbent organizations looking to establish subsidiaries for the issuance of tokens backed by U.S. dollars.
