Ciner Group Denies Allegations from Can Holding

Ciner Group made an official statement regarding the allegations against them in the investigation concerning Can Holding. The statement emphasized that the commercial relationship between the two groups is limited solely to the sale of Ciner Yayın Holding shares, and it was noted that there are no other commercial connections between them.

Legal Relationship and Statements

The written statement, penned by Ciner Group's lawyer Polat Dilli, conveyed a definitive message that the allegations were unfounded. The statement read, “The investigation claims made against Can Holding and its companies have no relation whatsoever to Park (Ciner) Holding or its companies.”

In addition, it was reported that the only legal and commercial relationship mentioned is the transfer of Ciner Yayın Holding shares to Doğal Yaşam A.Ş., which was completed in a transparent and lawful manner between independent buyer and seller.

Commercial Relationship and Trust

Ciner Group stated in the announcement, “Aside from this relationship, Park (Ciner) companies have no commercial relations with Can Group. Therefore, we have no connection to the allegations against Can Holding.” The group's belief that the investigation conducted by the İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office will conclude fairly was also noteworthy.

Additionally, the group expressed, “Interventions in the investigation process based on disinformation and distortions are approaches that have no place in rule-of-law states. As a group bound by law, Park Group will contribute to the fair unveiling of the truth.”
