Bursa Food Sector is Growing: Important Meetings are Coming

Bursa continues to become an important center for the development of the food sector with its strong industrial infrastructure and logistical advantages. Thanks to its innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem, significant platforms for food production and knowledge sharing are being established in Bursa. This year, the Bursa Food Point Fair offers an unmissable opportunity for local producers looking to establish international business connections alongside the developments in the sector.

At the fair, a wide range of products will be showcased, including food processing technologies, kitchen equipment, and out-of-home consumption materials. Food Point will take place simultaneously with the 6th Turfood Horeca Fair, organized by Network Fuarcılık. These simultaneous events aim to bring qualified buyers from both domestic and international markets together in Bursa to establish direct business connections.

Supported by the UR-GE projects carried out by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), these initiatives have transformed the long-standing successful purchasing delegations into an internationally recognized fair. This process has significantly increased Bursa's export capacity in the food sector. Additionally, purchasing delegations from different geographies have been invited to both fairs organized in collaboration with KFA Fuarcılık and Network Fuarcılık. Thus, participating companies will have an increased opportunity for recognition in the international market.

The number of companies expected to open booths at the fair is planned to exceed 100. This will create a vibrant and dynamic commercial atmosphere in Bursa over the course of 3 days. Furthermore, the Uludağ Food Summit will also be held at the Bursa Business School, providing an opportunity for market players to come together and share information.

With goals to develop healthy and innovative food products in the near future, Bursa is a strong candidate to be a significant player not only in the domestic market but also on an international level. This fair will provide a platform for information and technologies related to the food sector, creating synergy among participants and guiding the development of the sector.
