This week, the BIST 100 index on Borsa İstanbul closed at 10,858.52 points, down by %2.62 compared to the previous trading day. The index recorded its lowest level of 10,858.52 points during the week, while the highest value reached 11,259.32 points. These developments have created uncertainty among investors, while losses in sectoral indices have also drawn attention.

Changes in Sectoral Indices

When examined on a weekly basis, many sectors experienced declines. The industrial index fell by %4.07, closing at 14,085.7 points, while the financial index decreased by %3.09 to 14,352 points. The technology index dropped by %2.68, ending the week at 28,313.10 points. The services index concluded the week with a slight decrease of %0.08, closing at 10,896.92 points.

Winners and Losers of the Week

Among the BIST 100 stocks, the company that gained the most during the week was Gen İlaç ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ with a rise of %12.24. It was followed by Eczacıbaşı Sınai ve Finansal Yatırımlar with an increase of %11.12 and CW Enerji with a %11.08 rise.

On the other hand, the stock that lost the most value during the week was Destek Finans Faktoring AŞ with a decline of %31.11, followed by Enerya Enerji with %15.63 and Sasa Polyester with a %15.23 decrease.

Ranking of Most Valuable Companies

Among the notable companies on Borsa İstanbul in terms of market value, ASELSAN is in the leading position with a market value of 985 billion 416 million lira. In second place is Garanti BBVA with 569 billion 940 million lira, followed by Turkish Airlines with 422 billion 180 million lira.
