BlackRock Applies for Staked Ethereum ETF

BlackRock has submitted an application for a staked ETF for Ethereum. This step marks the company's first official move towards seeking SEC approval. The application reflects a shift in SEC policy under the new chairman Paul Atkins. Previously, there had been resistance to staking features.

BlackRock's current Ethereum fund holds approximately 11 billion dollars worth of Ethereum. However, this new ETF aims to offer investors a separate staking opportunity.
