In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 Index started the day with a 0.57% increase at the level of 12,924.20 and gained momentum shortly after, managing to exceed 13,000 points for the first time in its history. As of 10:36 AM, the BIST 100 Index continues to trade at 13,010.22 points with a 1.24% increase.

Developments in the Banking and Holding Indices

There are expectations that Moody’s will not make any changes to its current rating; Turkey’s current credit rating is considered to be at "Ba3" with a "stable" outlook.
