


In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 Index started the day with a 0.57% increase at the level of 12,924.20 and gained momentum shortly after, managing to exceed 13,000 points for the first time in its history. As of 10:36 AM, the BIST 100 Index continues to trade at 13,010.22 points with a 1.24% increase.
In parallel with this extraordinary rise, the banking index increased by 1.37%, and the holding index showed a 0.06% rise. Investor interest has further increased with the positive changes in the overall outlook of Borsa Istanbul. This rise indicates that investor confidence has increased and positive expectations in the markets have strengthened.
On the other hand, international credit rating agencies Fitch and Moody’s are expected to announce their credit rating evaluations for Turkey tonight. In the markets, it is anticipated that Fitch will maintain Turkey’s credit rating at "BB-" and upgrade its outlook from "stable" to "positive." There are expectations that Moody’s will not make any changes to its current rating; Turkey’s current credit rating is considered to be at "Ba3" with a "stable" outlook.
As a result, this historic rise in the BIST 100, when combined with the positive atmosphere in the markets, may create significant opportunities for investors. However, it is essential not to forget to conduct careful analysis alongside all these developments.
