Fluctuations in global markets, particularly the increase in exchange rates and consecutive adjustments to the Special Consumption Tax (SCT), continue to negatively impact fuel prices. In the week ahead, a 85 kuruş increase in gasoline prices is anticipated. Experts emphasize that these price hikes are directly linked to changes in international oil prices and currency effects.
Fuel prices in Istanbul vary by region. In the European Side, the price of gasoline per liter is 52.34 TL, while in the Anatolian Side, this figure is recorded at 52.18 TL. Diesel prices are 55.44 TL in the European Side and 55.31 TL in the Anatolian Side. Additionally, LPG prices are set at 27.71 TL and 27.08 TL, respectively.
In the capital Ankara, the price of gasoline per liter has reached 53.17 TL, and diesel per liter is 56.46 TL, while the LPG price is noted as 27.60 TL. On the other hand, in Izmir, the price of gasoline per liter is 53.52 TL, diesel per liter is 56.77 TL, and LPG is valued at 27.53 TL. This situation highlights the importance of pricing policies between cities and local market dynamics.
There is no definitive date for when the anticipated 85 kuruş gasoline increase will be implemented; however, experts expect these hikes to reflect at the pumps in the coming days. This situation will affect consumers' planning for fuel purchases. Therefore, it is very important for those purchasing fuel to monitor current prices.
