Crypto Law Poses Risks in the Markets

AFL-CIO has called for a re-evaluation of a crypto law in the U.S. Senate. According to this law, the retirement funds of its 1.8 million members and overall economic security are at risk.

The Responsible Financial Innovation Act, aimed at regulating digital assets, is supported by Senators Cynthia Lummis and Bernie Moreno. However, there are serious concerns regarding tokenized securities related to this legislation.

Additionally, both AFL-CIO and the Institute of Internal Auditors have opposed this law, emphasizing that it is inadequate in protecting consumers and that strong governance cannot be ensured within crypto exchanges.
