İstanbul Governorship announced that many roads would be closed to traffic starting from 05:45 as part of the 102nd anniversary events of Republic Day. In this context, Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) will be closed to vehicle traffic in both directions, along with many streets connecting to the boulevard.
Entrances to Vatan Street from the north and south directions of the D-100 highway have also been temporarily closed along with various connection points.
Alternative routes have been determined to avoid problems with city traffic.
