SharpLink will Move $200 Million of Ethereum to Altcoin.

Recently, among the developments attracting the attention of investors in the cryptocurrency markets are the news that SharpLink plans to transfer 200 million dollars' worth of Ethereum (ETH) to another altcoin. The company aims to conduct this operation under institutional oversight and carefully manage risk.

SharpLink Gaming stated that this plan, announced in collaboration with Consensys, focuses on generating returns for investors through staking and restaking strategies on Linea network. The 200 million dollars' worth of Ethereum will be gradually transferred using ether.fi and EigenCloud solutions through Anchorage Digital Bank. This operation is intended to provide on-chain yield, with plans to offer a more secure and efficient infrastructure during the targeted process.

With this project, SharpLink aims to benefit from the advantages of Linea, a Layer-2 solution attached to the Ethereum ecosystem, which offers fast transactions, low fees, and extensive ecosystem compatibility. Furthermore, among the three primary yield models the company intends to implement are direct staking yields, restaking opportunities via ether.fi, and incentives from the Linea ecosystem.

In their statements, the company's intention to earn rewards for AI-based services by utilizing the security of Ethereum through EigenCloud is another significant point attracting investors' interest. The fact that all asset custody and execution processes will be provided through Anchorage Digital Bank serves as a response to investors' security concerns.

Additionally, SharpLink plans to develop on-chain capital increase, programmable liquidity tools, and tokenized equity strategies in collaboration with Consensys. It is also mentioned that these projects are still in the development phase and will be realized in the future through the Linea ecosystem.

SharpLink co-CEO Joseph Chalom expressed their goal of uncovering staking and decentralized finance yields without compromising security, while Consensys CEO Joseph Lubin noted that this model could serve as an example for other institutions. This situation stands out as an innovative approach likely to attract the attention of investors.
