October Inflation and Pensioners-Civil Servant Salary Increase

With the announcement of the October inflation figures for the second half of 2025, the amounts of salary increases for civil servants, pensioners, and retired civil servants have also started to become clear. Those who receive salary increases based on inflation twice a year, SGK and Bağkur pensioners along with civil servants are calculating the increases they will receive in January 2026.

September Inflation Figures

In September of this year, the inflation rate was 3.23%. During this period, the annual inflation was determined to be at the level of 33.29%. The inflation increases in July and August were recorded at 2.06% and 2.04%, respectively. The total inflation increase over the three-month period was registered as 7.5%.

Salary Increase Rate for SSK and Bağkur Pensioners

As of October, the inflation rate announced as 2.55% contributed to a total salary increase rate of 11% for SSK and Bağkur pensioners' monthly pensions over the four-month period. It is worth noting that pensioners had received a 16.67% increase in July.
