October Inflation and Pensioner-Civil Servant Raise

With the announcement of October inflation data for the second half of 2025, the amounts that civil servants, retirees, and retired civil servants will receive as a raise are becoming clearer. Pensioners under SGK and Bağkur and civil servants, who receive raises based on inflation differences twice a year, have begun calculations to determine the raise they will receive in January 2026.

September Inflation Figures

In September of the year, the inflation rate was 3.23%. During this period, the annual inflation was determined to be at 33.29%. The inflation increases in July and August were recorded as 2.06% and 2.04%, respectively. The total inflation increase for the three-month period was recorded at 7.5%.

Raise Rate for SSK and Bağkur Pensioners

As of October, the announced inflation of 2.55% contributed to a total raise rate of 11% for SSK and Bağkur pensioner monthly payments over a four-month period. It is worth noting that pensioners had received a raise of 16.67% in July.
