According to McCordic, the market is currently progressing in a more tranquil manner, and the acceptance of crypto as an inseparable part of global finance is a sign of this. He notes that the current pullback is a typical consolidation process and supports healthy investor behavior.

On the other hand, Nic Carter, a partner at Castle Island Ventures, believes that 2025 will be a more difficult year. According to Carter, Bitcoin is no longer the brightest star in the crypto ecosystem, and investor interest is increasingly shifting towards the field of artificial intelligence. This situation is causing a clear lack of catalysts in the market, which is reducing buyers. Additionally, Carter emphasizes that traditional cyclical narratives have lost their validity, and future increases will depend on concrete achievements such as product development, real user value, and revenue generation.

These two different scenarios could affect investors in different directions. If 2025 is accepted merely as a year of consolidation, it seems reasonable for investors to be patient and prepare for possible cyclical recovery. However, if the fundamental reason for weakness is perceived as a loss of interest and lack of catalysts, it will be difficult for a recovery to occur without product adoption and revenue generation.
