Yuma Asset Management Offers Investment Opportunities with Bittensor

Yuma Asset Management presents two core strategies targeting the subnet tokens within the Bittensor network. These applications are protocol-specific crypto assets of Bittensor's decentralized contributor networks.

Yuma Subnet Composite Fund aims to provide market capitalization-weighted exposure to all active subnets, while the Yuma Large Cap Subnet Fund invests in top-tier subnets based on market capitalization.

Yuma is a studio and accelerator developed for the decentralized artificial intelligence (deAI) network Bittensor. The project was created by Barry Silbert, founder of the Digital Currency Group (DCG). Yuma Asset Management aims to facilitate easy access for institutional and accredited investors to the deAI ecosystem.

Bittensor is a decentralized artificial intelligence network supported by a native token called TAO, allowing users to engage in various activities by contributing data and computing power. This network enables users to access AI innovation through different use cases called “subnets”; these areas include targets such as text translation, fraud detection, and predicting the structure of complex protein chains.

Yuma Asset Management is backed by a $10 million initial investment from DCG. The goal of the Yuma Subnet Composite Fund is to have a structure similar to the NASDAQ Composite for subnet tokens. The Yuma Large Cap Subnet Fund offers functionality akin to the Dow Jones Industrial Average by making targeted investments in the best subnets.

In the past, Barry Silbert has taken similar steps during crisis periods like with Bitcoin; he founded the Bitcoin Investment Trust in 2013, which later transformed into Grayscale's GBTC product. DCG emphasizes that accessing Bittensor is challenging for investors. The largest AI companies, such as OpenAI and Anthropic, operate in the private sector. Therefore, Yuma Asset Management offers the first and unique bridge for institutional and accredited investors.
