A total of 650 megawatts capacity from 8 connections in Bolu, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Kahramanmaraş, Mardin, Van, and Manisa was allocated to investors as a result of the competitions held on November 25th. These competitions provided approximately 102 million euros in contribution fees and gave a significant momentum to the sector.

The companies that won the competition will be able to sell the electricity they produce in the free market for 60 months starting from the date of the signing. Afterwards, the electricity will be delivered to the transmission system at a price of 3.25 euro cents per kilowatt-hour. With these contracts, the process of free market sales for the companies has officially started.
