Yapı Kredi Leasing signed an important financing agreement with IFC (International Finance Corporation). As part of the agreement, the first drawdown of 140 million dollars scheduled for early 2026 is aimed to be increased to a total of 325 million dollars.
According to Yapı Kredi Leasing's plans, it is expected that the total loan amount will be reached by mid-2026. The loan structure will consist of A Loan, B Loan, and parallel loan components.
Yapı Kredi Leasing General Manager Fatih Torun expressed that they are making efforts to contribute to Turkey's sustainable transformation. Torun stated, "We work with great sensitivity towards natural resources. Supporting the transformation of the real sector with long-term resources is among our strategic priorities. This agreement strengthens our contribution to the sustainable development goals of our country while enabling us to finance a wide investment area."
The financing will be used for clean water, water efficiency, and wastewater projects, as well as in areas such as green energy, energy-efficient equipment, electric vehicles, and charging infrastructure. Additionally, improvements in energy efficiency in buildings and facilities and renewable energy solutions will also be included in the scope of projects. By making this resource available not only to SMEs and commercial customers but also to corporate segments, it aims to spread the impact of blue and green transformation on a broader scale.
