Foreign investors continue to maintain their interest in Turkish markets. This interest is notably sustained by strong inflows in both the bond and equity sides.
Last week, foreign investors made net purchases of 920 million dollars in domestic government bonds (DIBS). This amount, added to the 766 million dollars recorded in the previous week, indicates one of the highest inflows in the bond market recently.
On the equity side, foreign investors made net purchases of 196.9 million dollars during the relevant period. However, this figure is below the 238 million dollars net purchase made in the previous week.
These developments show that Turkey continues to be an attractive market for international investors.
