Vention's Brand New Developer Toolkit and AI Operator

Vention has announced the latest evolution of the world’s only AI-powered full-stack software and hardware automation platform. At the 2025 Demo Day event, the company took significant steps forward in advancing its Zero-Shot Automation™ vision by introducing advanced simulation and artificial intelligence features. These innovations enable companies to automate without the need for traditional hardware integration or complex programming.

Since 2020, Vention has transformed its rapid machine design platform into a software-defined automation environment. Currently, over 25,000 machines in 4,000 factories rely on the Vention platform for custom projects such as palletizing, welding, and machine maintenance. This results in faster turnaround times and significantly shortened transitions from idea to production.

The company's founder and CEO Etienne Lacroix stated, “Our mission to make automation accessible to everyone has always been paramount. With Zero-Shot Automation, we are building the industrial automation stack of the future; where hardware and software come together seamlessly and artificial intelligence operates from cloud to edge. This is an important milestone towards simpler, smarter, and more powerful automation.”

AI Operator is gaining global traction and showcasing the platform's key capabilities. Introduced at this year's Demo Day, the AI Operator provides advanced AI models for out-of-the-box applications in factories and is set to be deployed in factories worldwide in early 2026. Powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure and NVIDIA Isaac libraries, the AI Operator offers the computational power necessary for industrial applications. Production processes are becoming simpler, faster, and smarter.

Vention also introduced significant advancements to make its platform more intuitive and accessible to manufacturers, developers, and roboticists:

The new Developer Toolkit enables developers to work in new ways on the platform. It offers ready-to-use libraries such as Command Line Interface (CLI), project templates, and device communication.

Simulation Controller provides easier access to simulation tools before any coding takes place. This simulation environment ensures real-world accuracy.

RemoteView video recording enhances operators' capabilities to monitor and optimize machines. By recording the entire operation history, it helps in identifying problems.

Vention Projects facilitates automation planning and collaboration. Built on the industry's largest library of machine specifications, this new tool offers a more precise and systematic workflow from project initiation to approval.

Amit Goel from NVIDIA emphasized the role of AI in flexible manufacturing and shared the gains provided by Vention with the AI Operator. Goel noted that these capabilities are now accessible to engineering teams. Achievements gained in collaboration with Vention, Cripps & Sons Woodworking, McAlpine & Co. Ltd., and Solestial, Inc. create significant impacts in the manufacturing sector by offering faster design cycles and automation systems.

You can watch the Demo Day event live on October 29 at 11:00 AM ET or access it on demand at vention.io/demo-day.
