Ülker Achieves Significant Successes in Sustainability Goals

Ülker announced in its 10th Sustainability Report that it has achieved significant gains by exceeding the long-term goals set in 2014. By achieving its target of using 100% renewable electricity in all its factories in Turkey, Ülker has taken major steps to reduce its environmental impact.

In just 2024, the company not only prevented 101,000 tons of carbon emissions but also achieved a reduction of 51.4% in carbon emissions per unit of production and 42.2% in water consumption compared to 2014. This success highlights Ülker's strong commitment to reducing carbon emissions.

Ülker CEO Özgür Kölükfakı emphasized that climate change and ecosystem losses directly affect agricultural production and raw material supply. In this context, Kölükfakı stated that the company sees sustainability as a transformative tool not only for its own operations but also for the entire value chain and the industry.
