


The TÜRK-İŞ Confederation has announced the results of its regular research for October 2025. This study aims to examine the living conditions of employees and the impact of price changes of essential goods on family budgets.
Accordingly, the hunger limit has been determined to be 28,412 TL, while the poverty limit, including food expenditures and other necessary expenses, has risen to 92,547 TL. This highlights how much the daily living costs for families have increased.
The monthly living cost for a single employee has been recorded as 36,984 TL. These figures emphasize the importance of the struggle for survival for individuals and families.
In particular, the food expenditures for a family of four living in Ankara increased by 1.58 percent compared to the previous month. In the last 12 months, the increase in food expenditures was recorded at 39.06 percent, while the annual average increase was 40.22 percent.
