TÜRİB Breaks Trading Volume Record

Founded in 2018, Turkey Product Specialized Exchange (TÜRİB) increased its trading volume in the ELÜS market to 123.6 billion TL as of 2025. During this period, a total of 9.9 million tons of products were traded.

Priority Products and Trading Volumes

In its 6.5 years of operation, TÜRİB achieved a total trading volume of 372.2 billion TL with the exchange of 57.3 million tons of products. General Manager Ali Kırali reported that the daily trading volume record set in 2024 reached 5.46 billion TL on August 7, 2025.

The traded products include 15 different items such as wheat, corn, and barley. Among the newly added products, dried grapes can also be traded on TÜRİB in line with the quality criteria of the Ministry of Trade.

Licensed Storage Capacity Increasing

TÜRİB provides storage capacity of over 14 million tons with 265 licensed warehouse operators in 54 provinces, 165 districts, and 363 different locations. The storage capacity, which was 4 million tons when operations began, aims to reach 18 million tons currently.

Rise in Economic Indices

The closing value of the TÜRİB Wheat Bread Index, which was set at 6,665.00 in 2025, showed an increase of %29.61. In the same year, the barley index increased by %51.90, while the corn index recorded an increase of %30.77.

Future Vision: Steps for 2026

One of TÜRİB's innovative projects, the TÜRİB Trading System (TÜRİS), started operating on January 13, 2025. The International Product Market, which will start operating in the first quarter of 2026, will allow trading of agricultural products in customs warehouses in USD and EUR currencies.

The Futures Market will be launched in the second half of 2026, with work progressing rapidly.
