The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) shared the October 2023 data, stating that the consumer confidence index decreased from 83.9 to 83.6, reaching its lowest level in three months.
In the results of the consumer tendency survey conducted in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, it was observed that the index value decreased by 0.3% as of October.
The results indicate that the internal market activities and consumer spending have been negatively affected in the face of economic uncertainties. This situation is being closely monitored in the markets.
